Data Management
E³.Series, due to it's inherent design manages projects of unlimited scale from within a simple to use unified environment.
E³.Series provides users to structure their projects by numerous methods including tasks, location and folders, and integrate within them other documentation such as Microsoft Word or Excel documentation.

For more sophisticated project management, E³.Series has been designed to integrate with PLM, data and document management systems . Using systems such as these allows for more sophisticated project structure and user access control, and lifecycle management tasks with fully integrated drawing and title block management control.
The E³.Series parts database structure makes optimum use of existing data, and provides a clear view, and simple selection of users desired parts, assembles, macros and symbols. Databases are connected via standard ODBC, and by default the product ships with Microsoft Access databases, although Oracle or any ODBC compliant database system may be used.

Although E³.Series comes with a set of comprehensive databases, and new and existing drawing templates, components, cables and symbols are created and edited using Wizards, which makes database creation and modification a trivial task.
Data from existing tools or databases may be imported at will, including existing sheet formats, graphics, logos and external database or textual information. |
