August 3, 2006 - Munich, Germany, Westford, MA USA and Yokohama, Japan - Zuken, the engineering consulting company, has fully completed the acquisition of CIM-TEAM GmbH.

The combined expertise, knowledge and strengths across different regional and industry markets will enable both Zuken and CIM-TEAMto offer an end-to-end electronics and electrical engineering design portfolio.

CIM-TEAM's E³.series electrical and cabling software suite, together with Zuken's longstanding portfolio of electronic system design; including CR-5000, the robust and scalable enterprise-wide design solution, CADSTAR, the well known desktop design tool, and DS2, the e-PLM (electronic product lifecycle management) solution, will offer both vertical and horizontal integration within design processes. The synergies between cable/cabling and the PCB design process will help customers optimize their product development lifecycles, meet the technology challenges of tomorrow, and adapt to their changing market demands.
