The CoCreate License Server is necessary to enable CoCreate products to run. It runs under Windows operating systems or HP-UX and is a robust and reliable service. Licenses are supplied by High Peak Systems/CoCreate and enabled via the License Server application.
The License Server is usually run in conjunction with a physical device such as the MAC Address of a LAN device or a special MSU dongle and the licenses are specific to this device.
In addition to the standard license server product, two additional chargeable products are available.
- The portable license server facility enables licenses to be borrowed by systems not on the same network as the main license server. View More ….
- The backup license server facility enables an additional backup license server to be running on the network, so in the event of a hardware failure, licenses will automatically be retrieved from the backup server, eliminating the downtime usually associated with changing to a new server.
