E3.Panel Plus extends the capability of E3.Panel to enable automatic wire routing within the panel enclosure. Connectivity data from the schematic is automatically available in the panel design, and a shortest route algorithm routes the wires through cable ducts. Segregation is standard where EMC and noise issues need to be avoided. The auto-routing checks the fill degree of cable ducts and observes limits and restricted areas.
E3.Panel Plus creates the correct routing by checking e.g. EMC classes of the wires and the cable ducts. Even if there are shorter ways to find a wire path E3.panel finds the electrically correct way.
E3.Panel is not just limited to single panels but can be used for cable layout of many dispersed items within environments such as ships, building, trains, automobiles etc. There are many time and money savings to be had through effective collaboration by electrical contractors with building contractors. Not only does it mean that many design aspects can be done up front, rather than through trial and error on site; but it also allows for accurate cabling and part purchasing. To also far more likely to result in a long term reliable cabling infrastructure that is easier and cheaper to maintain.
Once routed, various outputs are available, including links to automatic wire preparation machines.
