Internal Sales Manager / Executive - CAD Engineering

Salary: £18k - £24k Basic + Bonus

High Peak Systems Ltd is a leading reseller of CAD engineering software, and support services. In order to generate new business, we are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Manager / Executive, based in Furness Vale (near Stockport).

Key Activities:

You will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities by targeting new clients, predominantly within the engineering industry, as well as ensuring that maximum sales revenue is generated from existing accounts by introducing product promotions and special offers, and by promoting excellent account relationships with our customers. Fact finding into the market and being proactive with the information you receive will ensure that you are successful in the role and progress your career into the future. You will also be handling incoming enquiries.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of internal sales success within a commercial sales environment, or can demonstrate a desire and ability to develop the role in conjunction with the business requirements.
Product knowledge, or market experience, within the engineering sector is desirable but not essential. We would be very interested to hear from individuals who believe their sales skills are transferable to this competitive market sector.
This is a very technically led sales role, so a technical related degree, or even a strong interest and willingness to learn, will be an advantage.

Personal Qualities:

As an internal sales executive your role will require you to be a proactive member of a small team. To be successful you will need to be self-motivated, organised, reliable, flexible, in possession of excellent communication skills at all levels, and have a sound knowledge of IT.

The rewards for this position are superb: we are offering a negotiable basic salary of £18,000 to £24,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications), performance bonus, life assurance, mobile phone, free parking, 20 days’ paid holiday to commence, and excellent career prospects. We are situated in an attractive semi-rural location within easy commuting distance from Stockport.
